Just from the 'pics that looks like a very SOLID car.  Why is it only going for $25K?  Most other sellers would easily charge twice that amount...

twodko

I dunno. It's mill has been heavily modified and the owner has driven it on the track.....how hard who knows. Looks nice in the pix but a much closer look would tell the tale. I'd also like to see much better interior pix etc. The upside is it's an Arizona car which might suggest no rot.

On the face of it $25k........no.v :Twocents:

There is a lot of dough put into that motor... If it were mine I'd put factory gauges, factory steering whee, and a factory hood back on it. Looks like an okay buy to me with that stroker in it. Now if it was a 383 in the car instead that stroker, I'd say 15-18k Thats just my  :Twocents:

$15k ballpark

It's the color ain't it.....

I kinda like green myself and I'd like it a lot better with a black interior. Could you get a black interior with that
green exterior?

I'm sure the owner spent some cash on that mill BUT you must assume it's been driven hard. Dash is not original and the dash pad is toast. An original hood would be required for $15k IMO. Not trying to hardass the owner or denigrate the car but I just can't see paying that much for that car as it sits. I think the price point was set based on the car being a 2nd gen and a built mill. If it was bone stock and in better shape with just a couple engine mods......headers, carb, intake etc the asking price would be solidly justified.  :Twocents:

It's not an RT, and as some have already mentioned, modifications like the dash and hood are going to hurt value.  The color probably will too.  But maybe not as much as one might think.  Also, since it is not an R/T, I think that motor is going to make it more valuable to someone than if it had a 318 or 383 in it.  It would to me.  Driver quality cars don't seem to be pulling in as much these days and conversely, I think $15K is really low.  What he wants seems like a reasonable asking price to me, and you could probably get it for tad shy of that.    :shruggy:

myk

Yup, the active and drive-able status of the car is what draws my attention to it.  The fact that the car appears to be solid, rust free and generally in great shape makes it an even greater value.  I think the seller should ask for and get more...

Sublime/Sixpack

That Ford'ish hood scoop would have to go!

Indeed, then replaced with a 6-pak hood!

fy469rtse

Good solid car , you don't see them in such great shape un restored, chips and marks to paint visable in photos,
Lots of mods to wiring in the good way, not correct grain vinyl top coming unstuck or badly installed,he's either one hell of a driver or that car 1 to 2 seconds slower , show me time slips,
My 68 triple green so partial to that combo

War wagon

From the pics and info it looks like a good deal too me
The hood scoop looks like a modified version of the AAR Cuda scoop

twodko

I hope the seller gets the best price possible. Solid 2nd gens are becoming harder to find.

Not harder to find, just more expensive.

To be honest I would sell mine if I could and get his due to the engine alone.
