According to the El Hemi website, Gustavo Sandoval was an engineer with Chrysler Venezuela who relocated to Detroit in the late '60s.  It would appear that Mr. Sandoval was in the US in 1970 when the 'Cuda AAR (and by extension, that tag) was manufactured.

Guess if you rated high enough within Chrysler, you got your car personalized!

Yes I know who was Gustavo Sandoval locally... just that is the first time I see this ;)

I would not have known who he was without looking it up, for sure!  Tags like that are not common, as I can't say I've seen another.

Did Mr. Sandoval move back to Venezuela later on, or did he stay in Detroit?  Is the AAR still his or his family's?

Nacho-RT74

He died long time ago when was working at JEEP assembly plant locally... As far I remember something related with a Jeep road test and some accident with it.

that car was storaged together with the Charger R/T 69 Hemi 4 speeds shipped from Venezuela to Peru ( to domingo, member of Moparts ) around 5 years ago.

I'm searching info about what is the plan with the Cuda

I have one around here that I got out of a '70 Chrysler.

"This car made specifically for" tags are ghay I don't care where they are/were mounted. Ignorant people thinking someone cares who it was built for. Like I'm gonna drop another $50k because john q. Douchebag "had this one built"...
" I have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours researching what works and what doesn't and I'm willing to share"
