QuoteLike most salvage yards, they don't need the money...That's why he won't sell the whole car.  Twocents

More money selling it 1 part at a time. No title hassles. ?

Yes, I've seen many nice cars that were in great, DD-quality shape being parted out because the seller will make far more money that way...

Ghoste

Until the musclecar spike made projects worth selling that was frequently the case.

I dunno, I could never part out a car, especially one that is whole for the most part.  Yes, it's just a pile of steel, plastic and wiring but it's too much like organ-harvesting or something.  It just doesn't seem right to me...

With the Charger being in CA, could be a car that came from the Exon smog credit deal.  :scratchchin: If so, the car had to be destroyed.  :shruggy:

So this must be the perverbial "I'll crush it before I give it away" deal...... :icon_smile_big:

I just bet these guys are Chevelle fan boys!

well they sell mopar items at a nice price to fund their chevy parts you figure with 5 grils they can get a freakin crate motor or something lol.

I called to see what was left and it doesn't sound like much.  They do have the front bumper for $225...

ACUDANUT

That's too much, you can have yours redone for 100 bucks more. That one also needs to be re-chromed. :Twocents:

BROCK

In Tx salvage yards 'turn in the title' to the state.  After that,  something
with the VIN on it has to be crushed.  Not CA, I know, but there are odd
laws like this all over the USA.  rear bumper is $200 pick up only.  The
tail light trim panel didn't show up in my search.  Oh well, I'll just sit back,
:popcrn: & watch
