It's not a bad setup but it involves hacking out too much of the original car to be worth doing IMHO.  It seems better suited to a rusty car that needs major frame work anyway.

If you just want the Corvette arms or the R/P steering there are other suspension kits out there to work with the existing unibody.  If rust isn't a big factor then the original unibody would be every bit as stiff as the Schwartz frame.  Probably even stiffer if you give it the minor additions like torque boxes & subframe connectors & lower radiator brace.

Troy

Yes, there's at least one member here building his car on one of those. I don't have a link though. If I remember right, the car (frame rails and all) sits on that frame. It is NOT a frame replacement! Some, if not most, of the original unibody still has to be there. If your car is very rusty you'll have to repair it first.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I recall that the Schwartz frame actually made you cut off most of the front subframe & shock tower structure to install it.  It just keeps the rear subframe in place.  It stuck out in my mind because it seems counter-intuitive when you consider that the rear subframes are usually rusted out long before the fronts are.

Seriously.  Nevertheless, I'd sooner cut off my legs than I would my original frame rails, even if they were giving those things away...

Me thinks you guys are right.  I'd rather keep most of my car intact and I didn't know it wasn't a frame replacement.

I think I'm leaning towards RMS, don't know about the TVS though.

HPP

RMS front $4500
RMS rear $2500
TVS entire car $2500
Firm Feel $2500
Just Suspension Pro Touring kit $4000 ( complete overhaul kit with ball joints, tie rod ends, plus the go fast parts)
