Whose into cutting up cars and turning them into furniture?  Looks like he's cut up some decent cars too. :'(  He converted the frontend of a 68 into a bar.  No mention on price.  But, I'm wondering if he made enough off of this, as he would for the grill alone?  Might be a cheap alternative to getting a grill :scratchchin: if he's got a few of these in stock.

For the record, I'm against doing this to classic cars, but it is what it is. :P

wow, charger aside, that is one half-assed bar  :eek2: 40$ sheet of pexiglass and about 30$ worth of plywood ... and about 4000$ worth of charger parts  :rotz:

Getting it for the grille would be nice, but may confuse the hell out of people... "yeah it started as a 318 car i pulled from a field, i started small, quarter skins from amd, some trim from swap meets, Then i really lucked out when i scored this sweet mini bar i stripped for parts..."

If the cars are basket cases just sitting around disintigrating.....why not?

But decent bodies/chrome/trim?   This seems like a waste of good parts.

The couches are neat, although the upholstery work looks pretty basic.     The bars are just plain tacky.   :eek2:

Years ago some guy had a desk at the Nats that he made from the rear clip of a Cuda.

Hans Ludke isn't the only guy on earth capable of making portions of Dodge Charger parts look better than they really are.  Big deal.

If this stuff is being built for a profit then the builder probably has enough sense not to cut up decent solid parts for it.  Good parts cost the same money whether you intend to hack them up or use them on a car.

Yeah the cheap plywood shelves kill the look.  :eek2:  And probably not cheap seeing as it has a $1500 grill on it.

I've always wanted to make a couch out of a 68 charger back end. Using reproduction parts of course. But can't justify the cost to do it.

Look closely at the center section of the grille.  He's not using primo parts here guys.  I've cut up many 'classics' and got an earful from self proclaimed classic car lovers until I show them pics of the before when we hauled it out of the junk yard.

There's a market for this stuff so why not?  This is exactly what crappy parts are for!  Got a fender that is beyond repair?  I'll bet you I can make it look like new with a few buckets of bondo!  Not acceptable on your car but in the man cave?  Why the hell not!

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I can't see it being a 1500 grille.  They do have some before and after pics on their site but none of the Charger so its hard to say what kind of shape it was in before.  Looks like most of their stuff starts rough though.
