Hi there. I just want to introduce myself. My father and I just bought a 66 charger. It's red exterior red interior. 383 auto. We don't know a whole lot about the car yet but were gonna be playing with it come spring. It's tucked away from the elements in Canada's cold ugly winter. The car has a few wrinkles we need to work on. Need to install new carpet, re-attach the chrome body trim properly, fuel gauge doesn't work and the headlight motors are gone. Other than that it's in great shape and road ready. I will try and get some pictures up when I get a chance.

Welcome to the site.  You'll find a lot of help with the car as the 66-67 Chargers have a very devoted following.

well, you & I know from years of experience that the first Gen's were a love 'em or hate 'em car....I'm just one of the few here that happen to love 'em...

each year has it's own following, I have had maybe 20 or so first gen Chargers, one 68, and one 70....so I guess I fall into a couple groups here...

and yea, we got class  :2thumbs:

I'm a 1st gen fan.  The first hemi car I tried to buy was a 67 charger. If I was able to get it I would most likely still have it.
There is such a big difference in body style that comparing them on style is a waste of time.  They are two different animals :slap:

I don't know if I would go so far as to say different animals but certainly one is the parent and the other is the child  It's just that somehow the child was genetically mutated enough to be both an Olympic gold medallist and a Victoria's Secret supermodel.

:smilielol: well said sir!

Since I have a 67 and a 69 I felt confident in the answer.  One is a very nice girl next door and the other is a little hotter.  Thats all. :icon_smile_big:
