My 68 Charger build.....

New addition to the family....
440 stroked to 500ci, new rear chassis and chassis connectors. A long list of work has been done on this 68 Charger.
Unfortunately due to un for seen circumstances the previous owner had to let it go.....and to a good home it goes

The previous owner was going for the drag theme.
Im going to try and keep it looking like it is but with a gloss black paint.
The car needs a bit more metal work before paint, Im hoping to get started on it in the coming weeks.

This 68 body is in exceptional condition...very minimal rust. It makes my 69 look like a lemon.

Looks like a good score Rocket, well done. Prostreet theme is a win, I'd start looking around for a wing and pointy front if it was me though, a bit like BigBlockSam's or maybe the 68 Coronet front hmm

Can't wait to see what you do with that bonnet, I'm working on a second bonnet trying to do a power bulge look to it and retaining the features of the standard bonnet, hood signal indicators, indentations to bonnet and centre line,
I have the same problem , engines just too tall to fit under,
But that car good pick up, some ones put a lot of time and money into it already

Totally understand, I lost interest at one point. Was mainly the endless $$$ to get parts ordered and fitted. The last 6 month I tried to get at least one thing a week done on it.

Hemi was from Raw Performance, built in the US but I dealt with a business here in Australia who organised engins and gear box for me.

Thanks, not a production color. picked the colour of a colour chart and then we tweaked it a little to get the colour/look I was after.

Wiring harness from Infinity Box finally arrived, and monday I should take delivery of the Billet Specialities serpentine kit. Looking foward to getting the car turning over

Billet Specialities pulley kit arrived last week, very happy with the quality. Next week I hope to have fuel tank, break lines and wiring started.
