My gal Nala is in heat....never thought she would be, was supposed to be fixed when I got her...oh well, I guess...

So, How is my male dog doing through all of this you ask?

Well...on the plus side, he lost some weight, he hasn't eaten in days, (never mind sleep) which is good for a 14 yr old boy!

On the other hand, he kinda looks like this when I pry him away from my gal dog...



I think he will kill me soon, I dunno

Please feed them in seperate rooms! A female dog in heat that is not interested in the male, will be seriously vicious!!!! Dont risk a vetbill, let alone the possible loss! Vet check is fully necessary. And just so you know, sometimes  on females when they get neutered, at a pound its a quicky job! Lots of mistakes can be made! Be careful and keep them seperate!

Way too funny. Best thing that happened to him in years no doubt and you're trying to spoil it for him. No wonder he's snarling.  But you do need to get Nala fixed or you're going to have all the neighbourhood studs come calling. Not only that but they'll all be leaving their calling card (marking) and that can be a pretty stinky affair.
