MOPARHOUND!

Posted the fender tag in another thread:  http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,10686.0.html

Towards the center in the distance you can just make out the tail end of a '69 Charger sticking up in the air.

And you thought 'HOUND's had poor eyesight....LOL. :scope:

*Speed costs money son, how fast do you want to go, and for how long?"
*"Build the biggest engine you can afford the first time."
*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."

MOPARHOUND!

Getting closer you can make out the outline of the Charger..........

And the trees in the way I get to handsaw down.  ::)

Cleared some brush and moved a little bit of junk to get a shot at backing the trailer up to it...............

The car was in the junkyard due to a rear-end collision.  Car was saved from crusher, but years ago a bulldozer with the pipeline company  :flame:  shoved this Charger over a mound of dirt (ruined the doors and fenders  :flame:), and over a pile of rear ends..........

Driver's side view, another rear end pile the Charger was shoved into by the dozer :'( ...................

Anybody notice some of the desireable parts left on this car?? :icon_smile_tongue:

Thorn trees protected the front end somewhat from thieves, but made my job miserable.  Vandals broke out the windows  :flame:

Surprisingly the vacuum can is still there (I needed that :icon_smile_cool:), with many of the lines still present.

You can see the loose rear end with a tire still on it against the driver's side fender....................

Rear view, I'm diggin' the rear window trim, and that wood grain steering wheel  :yesnod: ......................

Trunk floor rusted through, then top of gas tank rusted through, parts were laying inside of the tank.

Ready to load.  The loose rear end pile made it a nightmare to get the car up and over them, as they would hang up on the underside of the car.  That, and cause the car to not stay straight.

Knew those 67 Chebby Impalas were good for something  :icon_smile_big:  ...................LOL................

Getting some big air here while loading.  One of the rears was trying to stand on end underneath the car  :o...................

Darkness fell, but after 3 hours of blood (literally) and sweat, the biggest reward is in this pic......................

Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....
