Best I could do is $1500.  Or $2500 with 4spd and 440.  Better yet would be $3000 delivered to my garage in Seattle.  (Nanaimo is on Vancouver Island, so sort of a hassle.)

I'll bet he gets it & it goes over seas somewhere. Seems like all of the old cars are going overseas. Goes to show where all of the money is & where American has gone. We are headed for another depression & everyone is getting richer.....

Sounds like he's trying to recoup from having to install both quarters, trunk, rear frame rails, and the floor, plus paying someone else to do the work for him.  I bet you'd be asking something similar as well :popcrn: :scratchchin:

When I tried to sell my 69 project, one of the only real serious buyers was overseas.
I got loads of BS from locals though.

My old 69' Coronet R/T I heard went from Penn to Flor to now in England somewhere.

Is it overpriced...yes. But IF what is there is very solid, I bet he'll get 10k if he's willing to include the 440. Although I'm in Ontario Canada (probably 2500 miles away), these things are rare when in good condition. Many (but not all) very nice non-RTs will start at over 25K easily.

hi I'm one of the overseas buyers.
your right lots coming over all the time, but panel/paint over here is a killer 80-90 dollars an hour plus parts so its easier to find a "done " one and ship it  :Twocents:

so are there issues buying  from Canada  rust etc not customs  ( looking at a car in BC myself) ozzy dollar is worth more there

A BC car is like buying a car out of Washington ststae or Oregon as far as condtion.  An Ontario car is like buying one from Michigan or Ohio.

:shruggy: still have no idea where this rust belt is or isn't

one of my cars came from Maryland (rusty) and one from Indiana (not rusty ) but that was pot luck

it would be of great help to overseas buyers if this info was posted somewhere  :Twocents:

You know, I think that just may be the first time I've seen a photo of that car.  It's gorgeous by the way!

It depends "Where" in B.C. the car spent it's time, as to how much rust etc. is present ?

6pkrtse, your exactly right... I sold my 72 Dart to a buyer in Germany. It seems as if everyday you see a classic Mopar going overseas, Guess the money isn't around here in the states.. Shame.
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

know how you feel back in the 80's early 90's the poms bought all the old steam trains /traction engines in Australia when no-one was interested  now we have only a few .

but on the other hand we love the cars just as much or maybe a bit more  than you guys that have become a  bit  blasé about how much choice you have over there,  what you see as a parts car is a good fixer-upper over here   :Twocents:

if your going to live with it for a while the whole mad max thing gets old    :yesnod:

I like Ford's as well as Mopars and I could never figure why you guy's got that good looking Mustang/Torino combo!! Just a great looking car!!  :2thumbs: XB/GT's are outrageous! I found one in Alabama a few years ago and it was a 73 I believe guy had no title and it did look pretty clean, he wanted $12,000
