Found this 70 R/T cruising CL, looks really nice, only thing I cringe at is the rear corners smoothed over...  http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/cto/4223239396.html
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

six-tee-nine

and the rear window trim does'nt fit also. Maybe too much mud on there.

Dont know why but the rear valance seam by the endcaps always returns as the dead giveaway for alot of filler.....
Greetings from Belgium, the beer country

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

They been trying to sell it now for over 2 years u less its changed hands and new owner found out its crap and is trying to recoup the losses...

I told my body shop to FILL FILL FILL those rear valance corner seams, and they didn't do it.  Filled seams might be a sign of shoddy body work, but I don't like the look of the seams-they're out of place.  It's possible that this car just has its seams filled because the owner wanted it that way...

Very true and who says it's bondo?  I used to fill seams all the time, with a weld!  Grind it smooth and shoot primer straight over it.  No filler.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Sublime/Sixpack

It's a good looking car, but there are a some things about it that I'd want to make right if it were mine.
I sure like that color!

Ask them if it came from Huntington, Ind., looked at on that color a few years ago. Passed on it because doors didn't line up right & rear window chrome didn't fit right, just to much to fix for the price they were asking. Why no shot of the fender tag or Vin., or the bottom. Ask them who did the work, can you contact them, see what they say. Also drove 3.5 hours to look at one in the N. Western part of Ind. same color, but to much wrong also.

They should have never gave a link to this video!

Interior, well lets just say it does not seemed restored!  :smilielol: Far as the way the car sounds.  :P Well crap comes to mind.

It looks like that fj6 green go color.  I absolutely love that color.   :2thumbs:

Probably a custom shade like House of Kolor because I (think) I see metallic, and its too vibrant.  Actually, it really doesn't matter what color it was painted. After watching the video it's just another lipsticked pig.  I stopped counting after 1,472 things wrong or needing attention in just a few minutes. :eek2:

For 46K that car should be damn near perfect. So Run, ...RUN, ...R-U-N Forrest! .........and run your ASS OFF!!

How many of those seams are the result of the AMD corners that were cut poorly, I wonder?

My brother (doing my resto) called me and said 'These valance corners are nice - very well made, but I think they're for the wrong car' and I said 'err nope, AMD apparently doesnt' care that they don't fit, so you'll have to cut them'

After looking at the video it's not the correct shade for fj6.  It's way more noticeable in the video.
I was basing my assumption off this pic.  And from this pic, it's a damn good lookin' rig.

Other pix are of my buddy's fj6 X.

Your buddy's car is gorgeous Mike, the Keystone's add that Sox and Martin vibe.

Yeah, I love it.  Of course it's a 4 gear as well.  The fj6 was a mid year color so the #'s are low.  I have 2 friends that go by Tom.  This Tom's X was one of 112.  He just sold his b7 '69 Hemi X.  I could have had it for $55k & had my purple car sold for $55k but bailed.  Finally get me a real Hemi car but it wasn't meant to be.  Just like you getting a '69.

I don't know what he was thinking but he sold the Keystones & put a set of Magnums on it.  I like the wheel but all my buddy's up here switch over to them whether they're correct or not & run the stock classes.   ;)

Sure the color is nice, but the quality sucks.

A year or so ago, when I didn't know even 10% of what I know now... I would have said that car came straight off of the showroom floor. Learning never felt so good!  ;)
