Which flat black paint?

I want to give my car the V21 treatment and want to do the painting in my garage with a small finish gun and strong compressor.  I want to use a 2 stage system with a flat clear and I want it to look like this.  What paint am I buying?  I can be swayed to buy a bigger gun if needed.  :icon_smile_big:

Dino, if you're looking for a pre-flattened clear PPG's Flexed-n-Flat clear really impressed me. What's nice about it is that you can cocktail in other PPG clears to control the "flatness".

Originally, I believe it was sprayed with textured Organisol.

Excellent!   :2thumbs:  I'll look into that stuff.  I might as well get some PPG base black then!  Can't go wrong with those guys imo.

I like the organisol on a stock car, but mine is tweaked enough that I don't mind changing it up.  The dimension will be the same, as close as I can get if off pictures at least, but it will be smooth paint.  I love the look of spray can SEM trim black, but I wouldn't do a hood with it.  Something close to that would be great.

On my white car, this will not only be a nice visual improvement but a nice visibility improvement as well!

I know it's a Malibu, but it will give you a good idea how it turned out. I used the "eggshell" formula for this matte black finish.
