Even a crosshairs grill can't ruin the 2nd gen

Someone posted a modified pic of Dark Knight's old '68 to my facebook page and even though it's a fake I was struck by the fact that it's really difficult to make a 2nd gen ugly. The grill is no improvement by any means but the rest of the car makes up for it.

By the way, this 68 is probably one of the most often posted 2nd gens on the web because it looks so good but those wipers have always bothered me.

I've got to say I can grow to like that grille and would happily settle for it if the original was no longer available.
