Even a crosshairs grill can't ruin the 2nd gen

Someone posted a modified pic of Dark Knight's old '68 to my facebook page and even though it's a fake I was struck by the fact that it's really difficult to make a 2nd gen ugly. The grill is no improvement by any means but the rest of the car makes up for it.

By the way, this 68 is probably one of the most often posted 2nd gens on the web because it looks so good but those wipers have always bothered me.

The wheels look like broken poop, but the grille/lights actually look pretty good IMO.

Looks to me like the turning radius on that thing is miserable. Is that front tire as tight in there as it looks?  :scope:

WHITE AND RED 69

I think the best part of the stock grill is it doesn't ever look cluttered. This one isn't bad, if the crosshair was blacked out it would look way better.

Get over it guys, big wheels will always be around. Just pray that people don't want to go any bigger and start putting 22's, 24's, or god forbid a 26".  :eek2:

Also those wheels are photoshopped in so don't bash the car cause that's not how it really looks.  :slap:

As for rubber band u know that does not see the road one bit  all trailer queens.

BOOM 20s in da back and 18s in da front.... ;D
(I had to stop by the power lines to charge up the car)

Just when I was warming up to 17" wheels, you had to go and do that to a perfectly good Charger. Lol.

Not much room left for air in those.   Are solid bands here yet?   Or rubber bonded to the rim?

74, I made typo with this damn phone which actually made this comment worse...funnier, but worse.lol.
You know I'm just pickin. Although I wouldn't run 20's, yours looks ok.

Actually, I'm thinking that whole Charger has been photochopped. Why I dunno, but chopped none the less.
A member here pulled off the New Challenger tail light and executed it well. So well, I'd run it. Grille, not so much. I prefer DUAL headlights.

I like 'em from 14"s all the way up to 20"s.  :yesnod:
Depends on the wheel, depends on the car.  :yesnod:
20"s are about as big for my tastes, anything over that then it's rubber band territory. I run 18"s & 19"s, still have a nice sidewall.

Those wheels even if photoshopped appear to be way over 20"s. Too big for my tastes, sorry. The style of wheel is fine, though.
I don't mind the grille, either.

I've got to say I can grow to like that grille and would happily settle for it if the original was no longer available.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

I kind of like the versions where people add the nice grille to the new Charger instead of the other way around.
