Hey gang..
In my continuing saga of preparation of installing my newly bought 426 Hemi into the Daytona, I now focus on motor mounts. In a perfect world I would have an inexhaustable amount of money, but I don't. So, instead of purchasing a complete HEMI k-member, I'm going the aftermarket hemi conversion motor mounts. In a nutshell, it'll be an OEM 426 Hemi in a 440 car.

What are ya'll experiences with the Schmaucher and/or Arruzza hemi motor mounts for conversions.

no experience either , yet !  think I would go with the  Arruzza set up ,   shumacker seems to over complicate things  imo  ,
having said this , wondering if a solid mount would be too much for long term street use etc transferring too much stress/ strain to the kframe &  frame rails  :scratchchin: , perhaps i'm just over thinking stuff like I normally do  :slap:  :scratchchin:

Man, I may have to get the Schumachers regardless, Arruzza never answers their phone and there isn't an email contact on their website..

I am sort of uncomfortable with some saying their Schumacher-installed motors, in space, wasn't where it should be....

Then you have to buy real Hemi mounts too. Project just got a lot more expensive!

Everyone I talked to personally has said the Schumacher mounts raised the engine. Some by as much as 1/2". That's cutting is close in a Charger! A few of them added spacers to the k-frame mounts to bring it back down. If the Arruza mounts are better/help you avoid that mess then I'd find a way to get them. It is Christmas so most of these guys (small shops) are busy filling orders or are shut down for the holidays.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
