I was too tied down at work to take the time to get over there.  This is the first year I missed it.    Bob

Great pics!! This year also seems to be the least rainy of any year I've seen pics from.

Mike sure looks happy there. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Thanks for the pictures Triple!  Geeeze, not a cloud in the sky for once.  Looks like you could have used some more cars there.  Now I'm feeling bad for not making it. :'( :'(

Not sure why but we opnly had about 1/3 of the normal turnout. I had food for 125 people. We are going to be eating hot dogs and hamburgers for a while

I had a great time. We buzzed thru Tom Matson Dodge.

Thanks to all you came!

I wish I could have made it too. Just got back from Eastern Oregon for my class reunion. Nine of our original 20 graduates showed up so that's almost half.  I had a great time popping squirrels on Saturday morning and reminiscing about the 80s on Saturday night. I'll be in Kent next year for sure. Maybe I'll even add another green '68 to the lineup if all goes well. Bummer there wasn't much of a turnout.  :-\ To many conflicts with schedules I guess.

I counted six cars, that's like 1/5 the normal turnout...

I think for one, is that Jesse, the old site creator wasn't promoting it, and so it didn't seem as official of a forum meet as it did before. Also maybe there wasn't enough hype about the event. I think that people are more likely to go when they think a lot of other people are going to go, so the problem from that is that if there is a huge number of people and they all don't think there will be many people there, then most of them won't show up, and they'll fulfill their prophecy by not showing up themselves.

Not to mention that it wasn't back to back with another big mopar event like it was the first two years, which gives us east siders more of a reason to make the 300 mile trip over.

I personally didn't think there would be enough cars to warrant $50 in gas to drive over from Spokane, and that's not even in the Charger. The Charger would have eaten around $160 in gas.

:o

Also it seems like people don't like to get their cars out in the rain, but also when it is a super nice day or kind of hot, they find better things to do than tooling around in an old car with no AC. You kind of need the right conditions, not rainy, and not too hot. Just kind of a cloudy day with a breeze and without chance of rain I think is perfect.

Wrong again Jon.  There was from 3-6 cars parked at any given time on the back side.
It would be nice to see the members from the east side but the meet was a success regardless ::)

A BIG THANKS Mark, family & friends for another great year. :2thumbs:

I put pics on triplegreen's original thread about the D-C.com refugee meet in Kent on Aug. 6.   Got a shot out the back window of the drive while riding shotgun.   A couple good engine shots, too.

Well, here's the driving one.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

I guess I was talking about the cars that went on the cruise. Only looked like 6 cars from the picture. In this latest one I see there were more!

Only one first gen though??
