Well, my Bi-polar disorder of Charger/roadrunner/Charger/roadrunner has taken over and I sold my 69 Charger in August and picked up a 75 roadrunner (okay, yes, I KNOW they are quirky) a couple of weeks ago. I loved the Charger but after 9 years, I needed a new drug.

Be easy on me; I'll probably be back to a Charger in about 24 months.

That is unless, of course unless I'm REALLY am having fun with it. Think of a drunk Rebel Wilson on "Super Fun Night."

Any ideas on where to get specs/information etc on the '75? I've been looking but these things are more rare than a Hemi barn find.

I have a 400 4BBl which was "the" High Perf engine of the day, which is slightly better than a tricked out slant six.

In the mean time, I'll just confuse the members of the board by chiming in with my extensive Charger knowledge disguised as roadrunner.

Don't know why, but after almost 40 years, those commercials are still stuck in my head. Your comment guarantees they will be there for the next 40  :brickwall:  The car is nice.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Thanks Hemihead. Yes, I'd love a parts source. I'm in Ft Worth.

With the Charger, people would stop me and tell me how cool it was or ask if it had a hemi. With the roadrunner they ask me what IS it or if it is from "Starsky and Hutch."

Give in and embrace your inner "late 70's Love Boat, disco vibe" I say.

Bill, I'd like to see some close up, larger photos of the engine bay, decals, and interior. I like oddball and original cars. Not many of us have had the chance to oogle a 75 Runner. Any chance?

Thanks! I'll post pictures as I make progress. My initial plan it to keep it stock and pretty original.

So far I can tell you that all the emissions junk will be a hassle to sort through.

Today I played with the fast idle--it was 30ish in Dallas so it was enough to keep me busy.

Good Luck with your new ride. That 400 would sure make a nice stroker and nobody would know while you blow their doors off. Our friend did one in his 67 GTX and it was amazing for many years.

Your ride your choice best of luck!

Looks like a nice example to fix up. Still think that people hid those away for a reason, I'm trying to remember when i was young and skinny with my car, at least the 69 looks youthful and curvy, the late roadrunners remind me of turning 40, a bit thicker, heavier, slower, and showing some age.  I can understand boredom with one and moving to another, don't understand selling one for another...accumulate them, its more fun, you can work on one till it gets to you, then work on the other for another 5 years.

Good luck with it, as long as its a mopar its all good anyway.

Cool car, looks kinda like a cordoba. Never seen one though. Looks really clean. Thing would be sweet with a stroker and some quiet exhaust ....sleeper
