Hello all,

I just had a quick question to run by you guys if I may please concerning some winter prep stuff. Basically, a friend of mine suggested that, for winter, to place under my Charger an iguana heat lamp under the car to help keep the oil and engine warm. To make a long story short, a local NAPA store suggested that a constant De-humidifier would be better on account that if I only run that heat lamp under there only off and on - it will only warm up the oil, let it get cold again, etc. and may cause more condensation in the long run. Is he right? Also, I then read some older threads on the forum where a heating pad is another option. I read on here that someone used a "full contact pad heater," but haven't been able to find what this member was referring to. Was this what he may have meant:?

Is this product enough to not only keep the oil warmed up and the condensation out of the oil, but also to help keep the condensation/dampness out of the engine block as whole? My garage isn't, unfortunately, heated and has some gaps here and there along the edges where the cold air may sneak in. Maybe both - this magnetic heating pad + a De-humidifier would be a good route based on my scenario...? And lastly, for those who have used these magnetic heaters before - how often should I keep it installed onto my Charger (every day, once day a week, etc.)?

'Thank you' for your time and for any input,
Aaron
