Anyone buy quater panel skins recently?

I'm going to need a passenger side quarter skin (like the one in the link below).

So far, I've seen that AMD, Sherman, and Goodmark all have them with the side marker light already cut out. There may be other brands too that I haven't come across yet.

I know that AMD is usually highly ranked. In an older Mopar magazine article, it mentioned that the marker light on the Goodmark panels were slightly off, so a rear stripe will not lign up perfectly. However, I know that sometimes toolings will change to fix some issues.

So I'm wondering if any of you have installed new quarters recently, and if yes, what brand and how did they fit? Is AMD still worth the extra $ ?

I'm looking forward to any feedback.

Check in the body and paint section. Member here bought some AMD quarters and had some issues. AMD actually shipped him a replacement.
I bought AMD floor pans, trunk pan and rear valance for my 68 a few years ago. No company is going to make a panel that fits like the original after 40+ years of wear and tear on the car.
you will find the general consensus on the board is that the AMD panels need the least amount of massaging to make them work.

I ordered Sherman quarter skins (the kind that wrap up over the top of the quarter but don't go all the way up the sail panel) about a year ago for a '68 and the body line was very rounded and not sharp at all.  I made the decision to cut/weld below the body line for that reason.  If you're buying full quarters that's not really an option so if you need that body line on your quarters I'd look elsewhere.  Otherwise the fit was fine.

I got the amd skins and they fit really good but  the body lines will need  to be worked to be perfect.

I have done collision work since back in the day of these cars and I can assure you that factory panels back then didn't just fall into place. They had to be fit in most cases. I put an AMD quarter on a Challenger and that fit as good as any panel I have seen. The ones I got for it back in the 90S were crap so it is the luck of the draw on any panel.
