Great work to all, great to see how far your hard work has come, these are now better than new, even yours CDR that was a car most wouldn't have taken on, you can see what it's going to be now , :popcrn: :popcrn:

Before and after!  Okay so all I did was the wheels, what's your point?   :icon_smile_big:

More progress is being made but I won't have anything to show off until next spring.  And that's if I can make myself work on the car when it's freezing.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

It is so cool to see the pride everyone takes & the time & labor put into each of your cars. Another 15 years or so & this hobby will more than likely be just about dead. The next Gen coming up has no interest in these cars what so ever.

Thought I would add a picture of my Charger when it was torn down and on the rotisserie with plenty of work to do before even starting back up with it! The last outside 4 inches of the rear wheel wells, the trunk floor and the tail light panel has already been welded in.

Here's mine from August of 1988 and then 25 years later.

was she sitting in that field when you found her just like that?
Yes! it sat there for a couple of years behind my uncles brother's machine repair business, and before that my other uncle who owned it stored it behind my parents garage for a couple of years also. He had intenions of fixing it but never got there and I nagged him enough to sell it to me.

Very cool thread.
I'll play. Here's before & after of my '69.
I'll have to dig up my scrapbook of my '68 & '70 to scan some of those, pics are very old.

Day after I got it,

Year later when it hit the road, after a complete overhaul.  Had EVERYTHING off the car at one point or another, except for the rear window regulators.    And pretty much every piece of the driveline was never intended to be put into a car.  :D

Ok, maybe mine isn't a good example...  :slap:  Still not done, never will be, but feels good to drive it.

Yikes smoke, its looks worse than the day you bought it.... in a good way  :coolgleamA:
