Cooter I'm very impressed,  :2thumbs:
i think we start a new thread with voting on who started with the biggest turd , i mean car , or what remained of that car , Mitch will be up there with you, when he first got he's home , it was sitting on its wheels , but not for long if he had left it sitting there any longer.
but very impressed with your work, not many would have touched that , let alone bring it back :2thumbs:

Thank you sir. It's still a driver turd after 13 years, just a polished one.

hey heavyfuel

really starting to like the colour of your 68. I had a similar  colour on my valiant charger in 1981. Used to like it, went off it, now seeing yours am starting to like it again. I found a post where you are looking for upper control arm bushes for a ve valiant. Was a bit surprised as we usually buy our bushes from USA they are cheaper even with freight. A body uca bushes are same as b body but the arms are smaller. sorry if I am stating the obvious. I installed a set of bushes with blue material cannot remember what brand it was about ten years ago. They turned to dust completely disintergrated and I never even drove the car. I put a set a moog rubber bushes. Now you have me worried after yours do not hold up. Did you install them correctly ? the car has to be sitting at its usual ride height before you tighten them.

To address your questions quickly as this being off topic.....I haven't installed the Moog offset or 'problem solver', as they call them.  I'm just concerned about the lack of rubber material between the inner sleave and the outer at the narrowest point.  Not very much there so I think it had better be made of good stuff, and the rubber in the normal Moog bushing I did install is already dry rotting.

And the Pedders 6215 is MIA as far as I can tell....but this Nolathane product seems to be the ticket.   http://www.nolathane.com.au/product_detail.php?part_number=45215

Now just to get it shipped to the USA from AU for a reasonable price...that's the obstacle now.

If you have trouble , Pm me an i will see if i can help, will go in and ship it myself if thats whats needed,
pedders not too far from my office, so dont let them rip you on freight
