Hey guys, I'm missin a copy of the Old Car Price Guide and was wondering if someone could tell me the value of the below car:

1970 Dodge Superbee, 383, 4 speed, B5 Blue, numbers matching, mechanically sound, new interior, floor, trunk and quarters. Needs paint and new wheels and some electrical work but other than that, excellent shape.

What would the value be?

Pics?  The market has been so unpredictable lately that it makes it almost impossible to answer this without seeing the car.  70 Bees tend to be less desired than the 69's but anything in a mid size Mopar seems to be hot at the moment so I don't know that the old cars price guide is the most accurate estimate at the moment.
Is the car currently on the road?

shawnmd

Yes, it is on the road and painted, but just not the best paint job.  The current owner said he just wanted to throw paint at it so that the new body panels and so forth would be sealed for storage over the winter.  I just forget the different levels in the price guide.  How about the value of the car after it has been painted and finished.  the price for a restored matching numbers 70 bee?

A VERY rough "guess-timent" would have to be in the 8-10K range.  Totally restored would bring around 20K or more.  As mentioned above... it's really hard to say.

'70 is a love it or hate it year.    Used to hate it,  now I'm getting old and I love 'em.  Go figure.   It all depends but I think they'd be worth in the same ballpark what a Charger is to somebody looking for one.

I love the 70 Bee myself, the front view is what really does it for me.
