It would be cool to find one of those.

Jungle Pam Hardy
I think jim only raced cameros but heres a good pic of her infron of the sox and marten duster.
Looks like (judging by her site) she held up well

she was always a betty in "hey, get over here quick. the girl next door is washing her car again" sort of way!

The Ghoul

I always thought it would be cool to take a drawn out funny car body and throw stock running gear on it... ok so maby not stock but making it a street car...
Just thougt it would look cool.

I dropped her a line this morning just to let her know she still has some fans in detroit ( the normal gushing fan stuff)
she had this to say;
"Hey Kevin;
We raced Detroit a couple of times. I believe JJ had his wallet lifted by a working gal.
But we had fun along the way!

Take care...
Pam"
Just thought that was funny enough to share... What a way to remember Detroit!!

Ghoste

I'll bet she didn't think it was funny at the time.lol :icon_smile_big:

   It would be simple nuff for any decent fabricator to build a frame to do this out of 2x2 or 2x3 tube, using a stock Kframe, aftermarket or fabed uppers and coil overs.rear might nead to be a 4 link w coil overs. im thinking you could even make it a 2 seater pretty easly. problem is getting the body

Ghoste

I always thought it would be cool to get one and run it in a bracket class where it would be more affordable.  A "Walter Mitty" Funny Car.

Blusmbl

Somebody had a '68 funny car at the Norwalk Chrysler Classic this year.  Had a wedge motor in it, and I was amazed at how well the proportions looked in person.  Maybe when I'm rich I'll have one to match my street car.  :devil:
