Hey guys, Im new here but Im thinking about buying a charger and wanted some input first. Car is an all original 440 (375hp) 4 speed track pack 3.54 Dana car with 41k original miles. All Numbers on the car and drivetrain have been verified and are matching numbers. Interior is all original and perfect. Runs and drives great.

The car needs a paint job and has minor rust on the lower quarters. Dark green with a green vinyl top, white R/T stripe across the back. Decently optioned car, console, black buckets, tach, light group, power brakes,, AM/FM, drip rail moldings, LH remote mirror, 26in radiator and a few more just to name a few.

Its been hard for me to determine a value on this car so I know if I'm overpaying based on what the seller is asking.

So my question is, what would this car be worth as-is, and what would it be worth restored. So picture a car that is all original numbers matching, all tags and build sheet, but needs a new paint job and very minor rust repair.

Cant wait to hear your opinions.

First, welcome to the group.  Second, its hard to tell without pics but my dart on the wall would be 20k as I think you are describing it and 50 restored.  Maybe 60.

Gotta have pictures.  Minor rust to some is a basket-case to others...

Hi,

does it still have original paint? If so it would be a survivor and worth more as a car which has already  2 or 3 paint jobs above with unkown bodywork. As all others say: Pictures are needed
