Hey Guys, I am restoring my 70 Charger and want to put the 440 hood stripes on my car but wondering should I use a flat black clear coat or a Matte finish I want it to look factory correct. Any tips would help thank you, I plan on buying the hood stripe decal but wondering how would I paint the cowl to match the stripes.

The black hood treatment isn't a stipe decal, it's paint. The paint is called Organisol if I remember correctly.
