Ok im not sure what they are called but the steel straps with a rubber sleeve on one side keep the leafs of the spring packs together, where can you buy new ones? And what are they actually called?

Holy crap it isnt cheap is it????

what is on these cars

Well since my car is an RT charger that would mean the 98 dollar kit to buy the 8 steel straps, hmm, I am going to see what i can do to refurbish mine first.

bull

This may not matter to you but if you're going to replace the interliners between the spring plates there's only one guy I know of selling the good stuff. They're supposed to be made of zinc but if the interliners can be picked up with a magnet they are phonies. Frank Badalson of Roger Gibson restoration is apparently the only one reproducing and selling real zinc interliners like the originals.

He also sells the straps you mentioned. http://www.rogergibsonautorestoration.com/index.htm
