Fender Splash Shields...

I have probably a dumb question. The shop that I had my car at for 9 years (don't ask) put the fenders on the car and painted it. My question is, can you put the front and rear fender splash shields on without taking the fender off? I'd like to put them on without having to remove the fenders...

Thanks...

Dino

Good news, you can do just that.   :yesnod:    :2thumbs:

I'm not 100% sure but I think the rear splash shield has to come off to get the fender off and on.

I do believe that is true, although it has been almost 20 years since I did that.  When the fender is in place, the shield can go on without having to touch the fender bolts.  If you need to adjust the fender itself and the shield is in place then that will have to be removed.  At least that's how my foggy brain remembers it.

Not foggy Dino, perfect memory, that's how it's done

The fender can be removed with the splash shield in place. Removing the splash shield just makes the job easier, but it can be done.

And yes, the splash shields are installed without removing the fenders.
