I hate phones. I can't even get the pics off my phone when I plug it into the pc.  

im having the same problem!

depending on the phone, just plug it into a usb port and as the "autoplay" box pops up just click import pictures and videos and it will automatically put them in you pc's picture folder, otherwise open up the filefolder in your phone and copy them manually I.E. Computer/portabledevices/(phonemodelname)/phone/pictures  

did it work? some phones are a bitch, but most seem to work with the autoplay method

I haven't tried it yet. The wife is out and has it with her. I'm not sure it will though because I'm pretty sure she said nothing at all showed up on either the phone or pc when she plugged the usb in.

if nothing pops up just right click the phone in the drive menu then click import... also make sure the phone is on (some people actually forget to do that)

Ok, I plugged my smart phone into the pc using the usb cable and went into the drive menu but the phone doesn't show up. Just the hard disk drive and the devices with removable storage show up. Nothing else. (phone is switched on)

Yes, got the sound 3 times.

youre supposed to get it once, if its happening multiple times your port has a loose connection, try another one or atleast try wiggling it around or holding it firmly in place

Why not just email the pics from phone to computer and grab them out of the email?

Don't have internet on mine. It's only for emergency phone calls. I use the sd card to import them to my pc. But I'm just trying to figure out why using the usb cable doesn't work.

I took pics with actual camera, got tired of this smart phone . I will upload them tonight and resize the pics. Or i can email them to someone and they can post them if that be ok?. Out of my 69's this is by far the best shape ive started with.

I bought that doba for a grand, sold it for 2400 tjen bought it back at 1800. Bought paint painted it and put new wheels and tirea on her. I think i did good! The grill is in great shape but two spots u see in pics. Luckly i found those pieces in one of the many ziplock bags!

Hey Rich, the Mrs. just downloaded Kies from the Samsung website and now I can get the pics off my smart phone using my usb cable. It's so easy. 
It's great.
