Styling wise :eek2:  Maybe if it was orange, had a v8 4 spd. and handled real well. :scratchchin:

I'm being obtuse......what is it you're talking about?

the yellow car definately has things that i dont like.  but seems to be a clean car. bumpers can be redone, exhaust can be fixed. dash can be redone.

yep, as a package, i dont care for the looks,  but paint choice of the body is a personal preference, and im not thinking it is that bad. engine compartment, trunk area, body, are clean. interior is done decently. maybe it isnt original, but looks ok to me. if i had this car and the bumpers were chrome, the tail panel and rear lights were painted right, the dash was painted right, the grill was painted correctly, the exhaust tips were done right, and my car was that clean, i would want 22k for it. i dont even mind the sport mirrors.

i could see it selling for near that price and the new owner just fixing a few things to have a nice cruiser. :shruggy:

Yep, I can see potential in it.

Personally I kinda dig the color. It may seem funny, but we had a 1960 Chevy panel truck when I was younger that was a similar color. I hated it at first but for some reason yellow can sort of grow on you. That said, personally I would take the car, paint the dash black with some yellow accents. Then throw a black vinyl top on it, fix hat silly stripe, paint the tail panel black and get the chome fixed. Mabey even add a small black stripe onto the bottom of the rocker. Once you break the color up a bit it's not entirely too bad. Offer then 15 for the car, put another 8-10 at it and you could have a nice ride.

But then again, I have always loved these cars and have never thought of one as ugly. Of course that could be just because I've always wanted one.

I reckon that too,, vinyl roof, piss the stripe of and put on a 68r/t one, black out tail panel, black the dash, rechrome the bumpers and change stainless moulds and drive the ass outta it,,, wouldn't cost that much ta do that,, at least someone tried some thing different, not to every ones taste,,,,,,,, and some people don't like what I have done to mine,,, each to there own,,,,,
when all you own is a hammer, every job  resembles a nail.

Some where, at some time, someone said, "what do you want to do with the dash?" And someone said, "Lets do it in yellow!"

I was raised staring at and loving the stock car versions of these cars so the loud monochrome paint on these 2 cars doesn't bother me a bit. I don't think :shruggy: the red one will ever bring in that asking price but I personally don't dislike either one. :shruggy:

6spd68

I agree, I just think that if you're charging that kind of money for the red one, at least have a dash that looks like it cost more then 200$ to throw together. :Twocents: :shruggy:

I like the Yellow Charger, Minus the blacked out trim, bumpers and dash.  Easy fix. Why all the bitching ? :shruggy:
20k for a car that is done is a steal.

Well the 68 got it 1/2 right
Once they wrapped the bumper all the way around then it would be perfect :)

:2thumbs: i was a huge 68 fan since it was my first car.i couldnt find one for sale in my area that i could afford, so i bought my 70.

man i love my 70. really changed my attitude.

there are subtle differences between the 3, and i really like all three. so i am taking the things i like from each and making my own.

You see  this is why the 70 is the cream of the crop lol. Grill is almost a 68 and has the 69 lights. No I'm not biased  :smilielol:.
Kidding aside all 3 years are awesome. I was originally looking for a 68, but could not find one so bought my 70.

The yellow one has potential. As mentioned for the price you could change some things.
The legendary car  ::) no thanks for even 1/2 the asking price.
