Well, as mentioned in the event thread, it was a great time and perfect weather!  Several Chargers went home with awards, including one from each 1-3 Generation!

I will get the winner article up soon and the walkaround and drive in video will come shortly after.

The link goes to the pics our pro-photographer Della took.

If you recall, I have been pushing to have an all Charger Show/Meet/GTG in the canyon for a long time...I'll do the same set up with no admission and I could probably get Della to photograph it given she and her husband have a 68 with Ghost Flames!

If these pictures don't convince you, I don't know what will, but I will keep trying:

Very cool pictures, thanks for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed them!  I'll get the videos cranked out soon.  The red 70 and late model Challenger are a Father/Son...Both were winners!

Great pictures, TexasStroker! It sure looks like everyone had a great time!  I really need a covered trailer to come up that far (about 600 miles from my home) but I am working on it!  It looks like a very nice time.

TexasStroker

Thanks!  We would love to have you...I tend to be partial to Chargers in my personal selections  :2thumbs:

If you get the trailer, feel free to make the trip...I'd still like to get a few DC.com Members to CIC so they can attest to what a great venue it would be to have a DodgeCharger.com meet etc.

We had quite a few "local" Chargers mia this year due to the owners driving other cars, or some of them having friends/wives that were unable to drive them down.  If we could ever get them all out at once I think I could sway a few of you to head out...

I was planning to take the 69 but the ethanol is killing me...either ate the o-ring or just clogged the filter out back...I haven't had time to pull it apart and check...I plan to go to a canister right after the fuel cell to hopefully help things out.

Thanks...that is why I've been trying to get more folks from DC.com to come give it a try for a few years, lol.

If I could ever just get all the 66-74 people out locally I think I could convince a few of you to load up and head out  :2thumbs:

Not a problem...Della does a great job.  I'm so busy I hardly get to take pics...

I do have the "drive in" and "walk around" videos...I haven't started on them because my upload speed at the house has been cripplingly low and I want them rendered in full HD this year.

You really can get some great shots of your car in the canyon...the scenery and backdrops change with the seasons.

Where in the canyon?  Az or tx?

Palo Duro Canyon is in Texas.  It is about 20 miles southeast of Amarillo, or just a few straight east of Canyon.
