Since it's now Halloween, who has any local paranormal activities that supposedly happens in your area?

We have at least one ghost that haunts one of the few remaining Victorian era houses in the area. The family died of disease, but some say they never left.

Also, we have a Witch's Bridge.  Sometime after the Civil War, a woman proclaiming to be a witch died in the area.  Supposedly, you can see mysterious things out there on Halloween night.

No, I have never witnessed anything of the sort.

Do you know that even after the passing of our beloved Rex, we still hear his footsteps in the night. He took to wandering about the house not knowing what he was doing or where he was (he suffered from dementia) in the weeks before he passed and I swear he's still doing it.

Also there's a ghoste getting up to no good in my bunkhouse!

Have you had any encounters with this fella?

My brother is somewhat clairvoyant. He says we all have the ability to communicate with the spirit world if we are willing to open our minds to them. I don't see dead people...i guess my mind is shut up tight!  :icon_smile_big:

Had to exercise my own home 20 years ago. Nothing since. Sometimes, you could smell perfume, or apple pie baking. Daughter in her  upstairs bedroom had something call her name in a hissing voice once. Girlfriend woke up one night in my bed, swore somebody was watching her. All this in the first few years until I went thru the house. Supposedly, an old woman died in a house fire upstairs in the 50s. I have seen evidence of a fire while replacing the roof.  No issues after exercising the house

I'm about 40 mins away from where a murder happened back in the early 80's. It's actually just a pile of bricks and the front of the mini castle is still standing and the outhouse and well house are still standing too. We went up there a year ago and took some pics and stuff. It is really in the middle of nowhere but we didn't really experience any paranormal activity there. A very neat p[lace tho and this story has several web sites that have different pics and information. The place was actually called Corpsewood Manor or Corpsewood murders. We got pics but I have no idea how to load pics onto this site!! :-\

There's a house just like that down a little lane about a 5 minute walk from our place but without ghosts. It makes us think of the movie every time we see it.

My neighbor's cat, Dusty.

Can you spot him?  :shruggy:

No ghosts were harmed or dusted during this post.

Fred

If I recall correctly, somebody posted that up last Halloween.

Must have been me, it sure sounds like something I would do.  :scratchchin:

And I passed it along (to the horror of my stuffy relations). They were not amused.

He is the perfect cat though! No litter box needed, no food needed & you can pet him anytime you want to. He is a great lap cat.

He actually likes his feet taped too..........

Do you know how hard it is to exercise a house?  Most of the time, it is stubborn like a mule, can't get it to budge even an inch!   :smilielol:

Well then, just put on the TV and let it get fat. With a bit of luck you'll end up with bigger rooms.   And more space is always welcome.
