I currently have no spare tire with my car and would like to purchase a factory original. The broadcast sheet says spare tire 60. It originally came with 14 x 6 road wheels, but not sure if the spare was also a road wheel rim or a plain black type. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Jason

I think all spares were the plain black rim with tire.
The 65 code is 3580065 which is 14 x 6 road wheel with trim ring, black.

Thanks Bob,

That's what I thought, but was not 100%/

I have the original spare wheel and tire which was/is a bias ply. Not something I would ever use.
If I ever attend a concours show, I'll put it in the trunk.  Otherwise practicality led me to take the liberty of using a matching Mag500 road wheel with matching BFG tire.

My '73 SE had rallye wheels and the spare was a plain black steel wheel.

My '73 Still has the original 15 black steel wheel. The car also came with 15 inch Ralleys too.
