Blow up the image real big and go square by square.  The alligator (I don't think it is a croc) will pop up in one of the frames and you will  just like I did when I saw it pop out.

  erm    not the python , but now you said  , found it straight away     crocodile infront of hippo ?   so im still missing one     now there is only one left to find , i'm not giving up  yet

OK, I'm back. and I counted them and got 15 including the taxidermy.  I also found some extras that must be my mind playing tricks on me.   The extras are an extra horse head up in the mountain (no body), a partial lemur in front of the tiger,  I swear the kid behind the bear is wearing some kind of rodent on his head and finally the back of the circus master's head looks like it should also be something.

I had a hard time with whats in the window (E.B. Tuckers house). I counted it as one (a bear?).

Hang on, you could be right. Now that I look more closely, it does look like a bear perched on his hind legs.

Ok-- I'm calling for a DNA sample from Mr Paine to be examined.  (As well as plaster tire tracks and dog smelling prints.)

The way I see it, Mr. Paine makes #15 but if you don't like that scenario you can count your bear or XH29N0G's lemur as #15. ( I found them to be extras)

I counted two animals that are not easy to identify.
One is pretending to be a bush (next to the snake lady)
The other is near the hippos nose.  Could be an otter
