I needed money real bad back in 07 when I lost my job and I could have sold my car for easy cash but there's no way in hell I would sell that car..Instead,I thought about ways to make money. So I searched Craigslist and found a sandblaster for $25 and bought 2 bags of sand which was all the cash I had.I had $30.I posted a ad on Craigslist offering a sandblasting service and my inbox was blowing up.So I made $500 that week and kept doing it till I got something else.Im still the only sandblaster in my area and do it time to time.

Moral of the story is,there is always another way instead of parting with your car.

And to think, certain parts of the country a person would get a free phone or whatever else from big brother.

Good job sir, many a business was built exactly the way you started out.

You gotta do what you gotta do and be creative.I even advertised headlight restorations for $50 a pop takes about a hour. But didn't get any replys to that oddly enough. But it's easy to do and good money. Not a bad idea to do to help fund your projects.

I have asked myself this same question many times yet my car just keeps sitting in the garage collecting dust!

sitting in the garage isnt putting a drain on the budget. in time things will move on it. took me 15-16 years to get mine to where it is. and it finally went to a car show this year. :2thumbs:

only sell the charger if you don't intend to get back into one in the future.  I lived without mine for 4 years and within 2 i was already looking for another, luckily i was able to get my car back for the same price i sold i for.   I've always known that i'd want to hold on to the car, and would have regretted getting rid of it.
I'm sure you'd feel the same way, you can always dispose of lots of other items before you sell off your charger,  the charger can provide years of fun and enjoyment working on a car that pays you back every time you look at it.

I like to look out the window and see the charger sitting in the spare garage, just knowing it is there an waiting on my offers so much satisfaction.
