My 68 R/T has ps, and power disc brakes, but also has the stereo with 8-track

So would this car have been ordered with the radio group package with the radio then upgraded from the music master to the 8-track or would the options have been ordered ala carte?

Hello,

I do not know about the '68 radio group but the '69 radio group also included 3 speed wipers, deep-dish wheel covers and a remote LH mirror.  The music master AM radio was standard.

My Charger also has the AM-8 track player option, 3-speed wipers and the Hemi-only wheel covers but it does not have a remote LH mirror. Certainly, mine was ordered a la carte as it has power steering but manual drum brakes.

If your Charger has all these other options, it probably was ordered with the radio package. If not, probably a la carte.

Thanks.

I do have all the options in that package for the '68.  (ps, left remote control mirror, 3-speed wipers, and power brakes.  (don't know about the wheel covers though))

But instead of the Music Master radio, I have the AM Stereo w/ 8-track.  So back in the day, if you "had to have that 8-track", but wanted all the other options in the radio package was it possible
to just get the package and then upgrade the radio for the full price (a $196.25 option - when the other choices were only about 60 bucks).... or if you wanted the 8-track did you have to get all those
other options in the group separately because in order to get that package you had to have the Music Master?

The reason I ask is because I'm going to try and get a reproduction window sticker, and I'm trying to find out how that would have been ordered.
