The clock works but the tach don't.  :shruggy: :brickwall:

what ignition you running? Is tach wire connected to coil correctly?

Pertronicx. -on the coil. And it is not a repop. It never worked.

I had the opposite in a 71 Javelin, tach worked, even with a Pertronix I under the stock dist.
Clock did not.  I pulled it and added a quartz movement, works great now.

There are a handful of places that will rebuild it or sell a restored one outright.

But man, a tic toc tach is useless!

I can barely see or use it.

In the 71-74 Javelins / AMXs between trying to read the tach and where they have the cig. lighter,
I am surprised the original owners did not crash them all.

have a look at the gray wire that runs from the  negative side of the coil to the tach , check for breaks / conections  etc , & the blue power wire from the accessory terminal in the fuse box to the back of the tach , also make sure the tach in grounded well , ( these color codes are whats on a 69 charger , I think from memory ),  might be same on your superbird  :scratchchin: .
