It would be interesting to see the second one where the entire depression was a Ramcharger vent.  i.e. the hinge was back at the firewall end of the depression and it could pop up about 2" total at the leading edge.   Then it might be badass.  Now it's a little like eyebrows.

Nice work and clean install though.  :Twocents:

I'm thinking the '70 RR stripe on the '69 hood kinda kills it.

Best Air Grabber I've seen on a Charger was on a black '70, not sure which thread it was pictured in but it looked good.  :yesnod:

I think if this stuff would've been factory installed on chargers it would've gave me more time to get used to it

I think the lack of a cold air induction was a glaring omission from one of the best styled cars of the era.  Keep in mind, cold air induction was done not so much for aesthetics, but to make the car go faster (than lowly chevys and fords).  With that in mind, the black 70 RT is probably the closest to what a factory setup would have looked like had something been done.

I always wondered why the 2nd Gen's didn't have hood scoop options-a-plenty from the factory.  Maybe because Chrysler felt that the 2nd Gen, leader of the "Dodge Rebellion" had such a distinctive shape and style they felt that a hood scoop would ruin it?  IMO the 2nd Gen is one of those few cars on Earth that you wouldn't change a line on the body even if you could.

Question: did all of those scoops and things actually make cars  back-in-the-day perform better?  Most modern cars, take my '99 WS6 F-bird for example, boast fresh air induction features on their bodies but it's all a bunch of balogna from the marketing people.  In the case of the F bodies, the scooped SS and WS6 cars were no faster or powerful than their "lesser" Z28 and T/A counterparts...
