I think that is way too much for that car, You can get a decent 68-70 for 20k.  I paid in the low 20s for mine in late 11'.

bakerhillpins, all good pix except the 2nd one.  ;)  How's that black beauty treating you anyways?

That 3rd gen. is definitely a nice lookin' rig.  But for that kind of money the interior should probably be one color.  My 1st Charger was a '72 but that doesn't mean I know anything about them.  What's with the rear windows being electric & the front manual?  I don't see any kind of switch up front for the driver to control them?

Why not replace that grungy carpet while the interior is out for tying the frame/adding boxes.  It's just box tubing with what looks like welds to the front floor pan.  Mine were MP, interior stayed in.

For $19k this should work: speedo.
                                         -turn signals
                                         -horn
                                         -radio
                                          -A/C
It's not like it's major stuff (horn, turn signals-you can only give the middle finder for so long)

1974dodgecharger

Not for a 3rd gen they command less than a 2nd gen.

If your looking there is a member here name Paul g he could be still selling his 3rd gen, very immaculate condition he is asking less and in in superb condition with working air.

The economy is still in the crapper, if you have cash there's a nice car waiting...I promise!

Good, Tons of fun to take out and drive. Got lots of itch in my britch with regard to it but I am slowly (and I mean slowly) getting to things here and there. I am currently trying to replace the exhaust gasket as that blew out 2 weeks ago.  :icon_smile_dissapprove:   It's hard to believe that on Nov 2nd its time to put her away for another 6 months.  :'(

1973rallye

Top dollar for a car that has quite a list of things that do not work! As mentioned interior different colored panels, window cranks for front and power for rear? That carpet! Paint looks pretty but the car looks like a rush job for a flip.

Well if you can stomach living in California I ask you to join us here, where you can drive your Charger just about any time you want; being able to do so ALMOST makes up for the other stuff... :eek2:

Scaregrabber

I love 71's but that one is overpriced.
