Can somone give me help decode this fender tag from a 73 charger. I was told it was a 73 charger and it is currently red, even though the vin says its a 74. Is that even possible?
Any information on any of the codes would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone tell me at least what color my car is supposed to be?

Chris G.

Looks like the car was light blue with a white top. Looks like the car also came with A/C, Disc Brakes, Wheel lip mouldings and an AM/FM radio.

Try this link, it's very easy to use.  http://www.stockmopar.com/mopar-fender-tag-decoder.php

Thanks, that did the trick.

Anyone know what 'accent stripes delete' means?

KMPX2

Yes it means that the 1st owner did not like the stripe and told the dealer to not have it put on.

Dodge-Charger

It means that the car was one that was already in production and the owner made some changes when they went to order it. Instead of starting a new car just for the new owner they took one that was in line to start being built and changed the order package.

Accent stripe is the pinstripe along the body not to be confused with the Rallye stripe.  :icon_smile_cool:
