Yes, I know, there is a thread somewhere....but I found a couple of little things today that I couldn't pass up....pics are bad...toys
dirty from sitting so long...

Its very detailed...seems
bigger than 1/18th....anyone know if its modeled after a real car?

then this...1/24

Just the hood opens on that....it's very heavy

Finally....

I just thought that was cool

Oh....they were in a old shop here in town....guys says 1940's...he still uses it for person stuff....lots of old cars....1930's to early 50s....but the buiding still has everything in it....very cool...looked all around it today!

Wanna get a key cut from days gone by...he has the machine and all the blank keys....everything an old school garage should have is still there...

thats a 1936 something....i forget....no hydraulics back in the day, so walked don the steps underneath the car to do whatever....very cool....looks like new in there...

Guys who collect any type of signs, oil, plugs...filters, was a couple of old dodge things...parts/service as well...whatever, would go nuts in there...those old school thermometers as well...he has a ton of 'em....but....big bucks for everything...

And for that old '36, he fired her right up....good to go...

I came across this and had to share it.  http://www.chonday.com/Videos/the-writer-automaton

This seemed as good a place as any to post it :scratchchin:

Quite amazing. What goes on in people's heads is astounding.

I have a few different collections. I have 1/24 Nascar diecast, maybe 35 or so.
I collect license plates from states that I have visited or lived in. Accumulated some states that I haven't visited, which was inevitable. I have near 40 plates, with multiple versions of some states.
My son started a bottle cap collection last year on our road trip. I seem to be the only one adding to that box ...  He's 8.  Good excuse to try different beers.
I've also started a collection of Dodge Chargers, only have one right now, working on it though!
