Good day folks,

I managed to get a little more done.

I had to order a set of buckets and rings to to finish up the headlight doors. This is the set that classic offers, I'm not impressed with this set and rings (made in China)
You can see in the second picture it's missing the hole for the spring. I drilled a 1/8" hole.

Last set of pictures for a while, I'm scheduled for a front end alignment next Tuesday.

In this set of pictures are of the forward wiring harness, which was wired in reverse. As like many other things in this build, you even have to fix the new stuff....

Curt, It's Kurt.

Looking real nice. I'm noticing the assembly very closely because I've never done this before.  :icon_smile_big:
I appreciate the details your posting.
And your attention to detail is most excellent.
Wow! It's real black too!  :yesnod:

Now, I know my truck. Daytona's not so much yet.

Thank you Kurt,

I try to pass along the little surprises that I run into, and hopes it helps others as others have helped me.
I enjoy following along on your build thread as well!!

I'm really bummed the wheels I was looking to get are no longer being built.
I should have ordered them months ago.

I'm glad to see your driving your Daytona.
One must enjoy their car!

My uncle has some really unique vehicles. He was always afraid of driving them because "something might happen to them".
His friend, he has known for over 70 years, Frank Currie, who started Currie Enterprises, told me "Your uncle is nuts! Cars are meant to be driven. If something happens to it... fix it!"
Frank enjoyed his vehicles. He passed away a few years ago. My uncle is 93 and doesn't drive anymore.

I plan on driving this car every chance I get, and I really have enjoyed it so far. I've noticed it has turned a lot of heads. I'm working out the bugs right now, I have a couple of leaks that needs looking into, and I want to be able to drive it to next year's HPAC meet in October if God is willing.

Just my opinion: I believe cars are meant to be driven

Thank you Stu   :yesnod:

Now, one would assume it would turn a lot of heads.
There's not a lot of Daytona's running around.

You should see the reactions I get with my truck every single day.
Sometimes it gets kinda old.   :icon_smile_big:

Thank you for kind words   :2thumbs:
I wanted to go with A4 silver originally, but there was one that color somewhat local to me. There isn't any black Daytona's that are local so that was the color of choice.
As far as the nose cone, it's on the car, and the jack is not for sale. I may need it again.

Good day folks,

I have a little more accomplished. The regular bumper jack you see is from Tony's mopar parts. It's a very nice piece. The standard jack handle I bought somewhere else.

The scissor jack, handle, and plate I bought quite a few years ago from a board member.

It was also fun installing the spare tire   :-\ not...

Also, does anyone know where I can find this sticker? In the last picture
