Glad to hear you got your Charger back Rave  :2thumbs:

TTI has the 3in stainless tips for $157 (pair) which is about 1/2 of what year one sells them for  ;)

The YO ones are actually $155 and IMHO look closer to originals.   :Twocents:

Not that I am saying YO is better then TTI, just my observation.

Might go with accurate...169 with hangers...need 3 inch tail pipes.  All I can find is a kit.  Thanks

TTI sells 3in tailpipes separately....have them on the Black Pig with a custom built 3.5x3in Dr Gas Xpipe with cutouts.  :yesnod:

I just bought the EP900 tips from yearone which are made by accurate exhaust and they are very well made and slipped right into my factory hangers, no complaints here.

how are tti tips????  accurate tips look more "accurate" but priced better?

chargerbr549

Part of the reason I went with the Accurate ones is they have the factory bracket welded on to them that to goes into the factory style exhaust hanger and they fit like a glove, according the pictures it looks like the TTI ones don't have the bracket, that may not be necessary depending on how you have your exhaust system hung, I have never seen the TTI tips in person to see if they have a bracket or not.

The TTi tail pipes has the bracket hanger welded on to them instead of the tips. But you can always have TTi weld them on the tips if you ordered them that way.

to be honest , i'm not too keen on the tti tips  ,  don't get me wrong  , they are a awesome product ,  not sure its because they have had to size them up to fit in with  the the 3 inch tti  system ,  ,  but prefer the look of stock charger OEM tips ,  will post pictures later

also they hang down too low for my linking ,  suppose you could cut & shorten the tail pipe hanger , but then on a 3inch system the over axle pipe would be too close & or hitting the shock absorber cross member & frame rails  :shruggy:

Looks like you could change the angle of the tailpipe bracket
a little to bring the tips up a bit, as long as it doesn't affect anything else?

  that's good thinking  :2thumbs: ,
would work on stock  or 2 & a half inch tail pipes ,  but with 3 inch the over axle pipe ,  its 1/2 inch from the  shock absorber cross member already,

I really wanted to use the 3 inch TTI tail pipes and the Accurate tips...but I called and confirmed that Accurate needed to charge me $36.95 for shipping from CA to MO for just the tips because that is "about" what is costs for 5 day shipping.  got them to come down to $26 to ship the tips...but still...really?  stainless for 109 is good price from accurate...shipping is kind of a deal killer out of principle.

I chose the TTI tip because of time constraint and no extra charge for shipping.  no price match from these guys.  tail pipes and tips $491 I tto my door.  advantage is that pipes will not have flow reduction that the muffler shop bent tubes will have.  I will likely have the shop weld the tips on and scratch the clamp.  cut off the weird angled tti bracket and weld in place like stock.  thanks for the pics!

BrianShaughnessy

I had tried to go with 3" TTI pipes and (more correct) Accurate tips but I really didn't feel like cutting the brackets on anything...  so at the time I sent back the Accurate tips and got the TTI's.    :shruggy:
