Guys photos please, measured and got my drive shaft made,
Still waiting on the boot type of seal, I have checked against factory measurements and a old shaft , I have it in and without the boot seal it looks odd , I know when I put it in it registered on spline and slid in a long way , but it still looks like it hangs out a long way , so would love to see any images that you have

With the suspension fully loaded the yoke should measure 3 3/4" from the rear of the tailhousing to the center of the u-joint. Without the seal boot, this often looks like it's extended too far.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Thanks John, I know it's correct, and have measured it the same as you posted,
It just looks weird , it always makes me nervous when I do a car,
Have only the modern seal in it, waiting for the boot seal to come,
It always looks like it could go in a lot further, I have to keep in mind that the output shaft also sticks out past the extension housing ,
