Has anybody tried any of these howards cams lifters?? According to the website they are made in the USA. I was doing a search on best hydraulic lifters and these were suggested even by summit racing as good lifters. I am planning on swapping lifters and I found a part number for the comp rocker arm adjusters that will work in my PRW rocker arms and should be better quality than the ones that came with the rocker arms that break often.

I have a set of their solid EDM lifters in my car. I wanted to have the Howards were added insurance against early cam and lifter failure and this brand was recommended. I only have about 50 miles or so on them, so I can't say much about their quality yet.

I just wonder how the quality of their hydraulic lifters may be verses the comp lifters that are in my engine now. I read where someone tried a set of the topline lifters and it wasn't a good outcome. I'm kinda skittish about these topline lifters and can't find a source for the actual "johnson" lifters which i'm not sure if these actual lifters even exist. I have tried several of the listed vendors but they are out of the mopar hyd lifters and do not know when they will get any in. The only recommended lifters I have found that are actually in stock and ready to ship are these howards lifters. I am going to contact this company and see if I can find out who they get their lifters from or what their story is on this subject. I've been told that melling supplies all the lifters for comp, lunati, elgin, sealed power, and etc. Just wonder if these howards are melling lifters too. If I find anything out or if I decide to try these I will post my findings!!!!
