No it's not as nice as it should look.  It looks like 872 miles and a LOT of sitting dormant without much attention.

Good example of how NOT to take photos.  It's dirty.  It's wet.  The interior isn't spotless.  The paint doesn't pop.   That car would benefit from a professional detail job. 

No way to tell if the bids are real, or just pimped up.

I am listing my fathers 1982 ford mustang gt. He has owned the car since new. He bought it from the show room floor at Beasley Ford in york pa. He drove the car for 6 months then lost his license.  About 2 months ago he decided it was time to let it go and unfortunately I don't have the money to buy it. So here it is on ebay.

I MIGHT be able to see a '91-'93 5.0 LX or a GT in similar shape cause some people to go bonkers, as solid examples of those cars are hard to find these days, but that particular generation of Mustangs don't really grab anyone's attention...

Oh for sure.  I don't see the most pristine, let's say: 1991 5.0 LX going for more than $15K, and I'm sure that's even stretching/pushing it.  Then again, who knows what people are willing to pay for these days?

The 4-eyed Fords have an odd little following.  Be it the 4 eyed Mustangs, Thunderbirds or Cougars, there are groups of people that absolutely love'em.  The 82 has the best front end of that style IMO, but if I had to take a fox Mustang I'd go 87 as they're the last year for emissions exempt.

For me though, there's no question I like how Fox Thunderbirds look a lot better in comparison.  Hence why I've owned 4, and 0 Mustangs.  Plus the Mustang is really just another 'ME TOO!' car.  Why not be more unique with more style?  Just look at the differences, and try to tell me the Thunderbird doesn't look better...

I owned this '85 GT for almost 20 years.   Had a lot of fun and did quite a few track days with it.    If I had to have another, it would be a 91-93 fuel injected car.

I never thought the Fox body Mustang looked like a performance car. It looked like a glorified Ford Escort. At least GM's pony cars of the day looked nothing like a Cavalier. The Firebird especially looked like a performance car (which is why it was such a good fit in the show Knight Rider).
