Lower radiator support question

[WHITE AND RED 69]

I am preparing to install a new lower radiator support brace but need to remove the bracket (circled in pic) that holds the grill brace to the support brace. How was this attached from the factory? Spot welds from the radiator side? I haven't removed the radiator yet so I can't tell. Just want to make sure I remove it properly without damaging it.

it's spot welded from factory.

Thanks Fred       That's what I thought just couldn't see any marks from the outside. Just wanted to be sure before I started hacking away.
