I mentioned on another post that I'm driving my son up thru Oregon to go back to school. I can't tell you how many huge lots we passed with old Cudas, Challengers, GTOs, etc.

Coming back to our hotel today, and the garage across the street is working on a black 70 Challenger. There's a 65 GTO convertible waiting to be worked on, and it appears the guy doing the work owns the 67 GTO out front.  Took a ride around the back of the lot, and what do I see.... TWO Gen-3 Chargers. They're not in terrible shape as far as I can tell, but I didn't want to go nosing around the guys lot so I didn't get a great look.

Best part about all these lots - ZERO Mustangs and Camaros!!

Not only that, but we've got some casinos, what look like decent bars, and what they call "adult shops"

So lets see, gambling, alcohol, naked women, and old cars..... Hmmm I may have just found the place I'm going to retire!

Woodburn (drag strip) to Salem always seems to have a lot of muscle cars.

You must have seen the only clean, rust free classics' in the state.  Nothing but rusting, moldy rigs in the Northwest.   ;)

Graveyard Cars is down there somewhere near Eugene. I think what you're seeing is an anomaly. Mostly it's Berkinstocks and Priuses around here.

Yeah I haven't gotten a real close look at anything other than the one Challenger and the guys GTO

Maybe the rest are rusting hulks.  But hey in the bay area of CA we don't even see that. It's ALL Priuses and Leafs and now Teslas.

In fact I'm imagining the best part about owning the Charger in my area will be to either scare the shit out of folks, bother them with the sound, or just piss them off that it's not "green".

I beg to differ. Seems to me most 2nd gen Chargers came from the factory green. And they're all hybrids; they burn gas and rubber.
