So I got my car back from paint and there are 2 holes on the trunk that look like they are for a dealer tag. I figure maybe put a dealer tag back on it.

What are the best dealer tags to have ? Any pics ? Any emblems out there ?

Ghoste

Mr. Norm, White Bear, Hodges, Banning.  Lots more.

Grand Spaulding dodge(Mr Norm ) gets my vote but I'm biased    :yesnod:

Couldn't find any dealer tags for grand Spaulding, or even any pics. Did they not put a little plate/tag with there name on it on the trunk ?

Ghoste

Google Mr. Norm, he still sells that stuff on his website.

RGA

Anybody got a pic with the decklid emblem ? I'm in albuquerque and might try to find an old emblem from around here. Did you guys leave yours on after resto even if it wasn't Mr. norm.

Grand Spaulding Dodge  (Mr Norm's) is probably the most famous for dodges, not sure if they used a dealer emblem or just sticker,  the sticker is available from their website.  If you join their club you get one for free.

Maxwell Wedge might know for sure but I believe Norm had a window decal, a trunk decal and a licence plate frame and all three are available from him.

I have 2 holes in left rear corner of decklid, body shop thought it was for and emblem so they didn't fill them. Figured an old dealer tag would do good there, easier than filling and re-painting the trunk.

Mr norm had sticker on trunk lid in quarter windows and licence plate frame

The sport club sticker goes on either the right side rear quarter window, or the right rear corner of the rear glass, the mr norm's dyno tune sticker (not shown) goes on the left side rear quarter glass, the ram horn sticker would go on the bumper or trunklid.

saw an original unrestored mopar with the sticker on the bumper, the mr norm's page describes where they mounted each, don't remember where they said the sticker goes, just know I wouldn't want a sticker on the paint of my car when a bumper is just as prominent. I got the dyno and club sticker when I joined their club, and put both on my new challenger in the appropriate places have not installed the ram sticker yet.  Plan on eventually getting them to install a KB blower on the challenger and tune it.

If you know where your car was sold new, then you can start a hunt for one from that dealer. Who knows, you might get lucky. If the dealer is still around maybe they'll have some stashed away in a dusty corner somewhere. You never know.
I have the original dealer license plate frame where my car was sold with their logo on it. I plan to have it rechromed & restore it over the winter.

You may want to checkout the following site:  www.hamtramck-historical.com
Lots of cool information including old pictures of many Dodge Dealers that are no longer in business, including Grand Spaulding (Many have been posted here already in the past).  Plus, if you have an original Grand Spaulding Dodge they may have paperwork on it.......   Either way it's an interesting site......

Correct - No pot metal or plastic G-S Dodge Emblems......Sport Club, Dyno-Tuned and Oval G-S Dodge stickers is what they put on.....License frames certain years.

And yes - they were the top Mopar (Dodge) dealer.  :2thumbs:
