well my motor is neering completion . Though im going to need to do soemthing about the drive shaft.  my original engine had a 904  and the new will be a 727 . obviously the drive shaft size will have to be changed.  Although I will be putting this engine in my other charger so it would probably be good not to cut it to size . Would it work and is there somewhere I can buy another driveshaft to fit the 727?
Thanks for any help

You can buy a kit from MP to make your own driveshaft but your best bet is to contact any local racers and see where they get theirs made.  You may even find something under the yellow pages but there should be a shop local to you that can cut to exact size and balance it.

The cheapest way is to have a driveline shop cut it to length. Will be alot cheaper than making a new one or buying one. Alot of bigrig shops around here do driveshafts, but like Ghost said, grab the yellow pages.

That would probably be easiest right now to get the on i have made to size , just gonna have to bite the bullet I guess and have to get another one for my other charger later on .

This is probably a really dumb question
Would it hurt the car to start it up with out a drive shaft?

No.  I would probably put a slip yoke in the back of the trans though and leave it park.
