Headlining

Does the glass have to come out to install headlining ? If so I assume the glass will break if taken out ? I'm in the UK so not exactly cheap to import new glass, also is this the factory insulation ?

 that's not factory insulation ,  it can be done  with glass in  ,  would be easier with it out  , more so for the rear glass ,
but can be done with front & rear in

no , unless you do something  crazy ,  then it will shatter , its toughened glass , just like the side glass ,  windshield is laminated ie two layers of glass with  plastic/ vinyl sandwiched in between .
